Visitors to the Gold Coast - please if you are going to swim - always swim between the flags! The Coast is renowned for great under currents and we cannot stress too much the importance of swimming between the flags! We lost a well known local Doctor because he chose to swim alone in an unpatrolled area. So please - be aware - Stay safe! Look for the flags and our friendly wonderful lifeguards! And remember, stay out of the water at night!
